This month, we are proud to support the Red Cross, an organization dedicated to preventing and alleviating suffering in countless ways. From providing shelter, food, and comfort to disaster victims to supplying nearly 40% of the nation's blood, teaching life-saving skills, delivering humanitarian aid worldwide, and supporting veterans and military families, the Red Cross is a lifeline for those in need.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Red Cross relies on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to fulfill its vital mission. Together, we can make an impact that truly matters.

BLOOD DONORS NEEDED

Blood Usage: Every two seconds, someone in the United States requires a blood product.

Daily Demand: Approximately 31,000 pints of blood are used each day in the U.S.

Donor Participation: Only about 3% of age-eligible individuals in the U.S. donate blood annually, equating to roughly 6.8 million Americans.

Diversity in Donations: Only 12% of blood donations come from communities of color, highlighting the need for increased diversity among donors to ensure a robust and inclusive blood supply.

Aging Donor Population: There's been a 40% rise in donors over the age of 65, underscoring the importance of encouraging younger generations to participate in blood donation.
